This picture is from a few weeks ago, as we are both still staying close to home today, getting over colds, but lilacs for Mother's Day seem appropriate.
Beautiful picture. Very grown up looking in this one. I love that she is surrounded by Lilacs. They are one of my all time favorite flowers.
I miss how you can buy them in the city. Out here they are all over the place on bushes but those bushes are also on other people's property. One of my goals is to plant a bunch of them in our yard. I just have to figure out the right spot. Oh and buy some bushes.
Deep purple, white, pink, pale purple - or will you mix them up? I love lilacs, too. Lilacs and forsythia are my favorite flowering plants that I remember from my childhood.
